Meet the Doctor - Mark A. Crane, DDS, MD

A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Dr. Crane received the Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California at San Francisco and the Doctor of Medicine from the University of California at Davis. His Anesthesia and General Surgery components and Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery were completed at the University of California Medical Center, San Francisco General Hospital and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, San Francisco.

After completing this intensive, eleven-year training program, he was invited to join the Medical Staff of the University of California at San Francisco, where he enjoyed the privilege of teaching surgeons, dentists and physicians. As Assistant Clinical Professor, his academic practice was in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

This broad scope of services consists of the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of the wide variety of problems affecting the mouth, teeth, jaws and facial region. This includes procedures such as extraction of impacted and decayed teeth, placement of dental implants, biopsy and removal of cysts and tumors of the mouth and jaws, correction of facial deformities, and nerve repair.

Dr. Crane, a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is pleased to offer surgical services to the communities of northern Arizona and southern Utah.
